Alltel and LG launch LG Scoop

Alltel Wireless and LG Electronics MobileComm (LG Mobile Phones) has announced that the LG Scoop is now available in Alltel retail stores and online at shopalltel.com.
Featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, the Scoop is available in three colours - citrus orange, slate grey and turquoise blue. The phone comes with pre-loaded AOL Instant Messenger and Yahoo Messenger.
It also features pre-loaded e-mail, a 1.3MP camera with video, a music player, a microSD memory port with 4GB support (4GB microSD card sold separately), Bluetooth wireless technology and Celltop, a technology offering customers a way to access, manage and organise information already available on their phones.
The LG Scoop is also suitable for Alltel’s new service, Axcess Voice2TXT. The service, which is available on any Alltel Wireless SMS text message capable phone, converts incoming voice-mails to text messages in the customer’s inbox and also allows customers to store and forward converted voicemails as regular text messages.
