The W760 Walkman is a tri-band HSPDA slider-style phone featuring music management with Shake Control and track discovery using TrackID™, 3D games, assisted GPS and high-speed web access including landscape browsing. This slimline phone also includes a 320×240 pixel 262K TFT QVGA display, 3 megapixel camera, Memory Stick Micro™ removable storage, picture & video blogging, media browser and Media Manager PC software.
The W760 is based on Sony Ericsson’s Java™ Platform 8 (JP-8), supporting Mobile Services Architecture (MSA) JSR 248, the next-generation Java umbrella standard. Mobile 3D gaming is supplemented with A/B buttons for landscape mode gaming and motion sensor access with JSR 256.
The W760 will be available during Q2 2008.
